I have to play catch up today, I've been feeling low, my tremors are bad, and I haven't felt like doing anything.
The winds are howling again and it hailed in the night. The strength and direction could not be worse for my midday Tesco Christmas delivery. Still it is what it is and can't be helped, I am grateful for the convenience of delivery.
The Curse of the Tesco Substitute Strikes Again . . . you have to laugh!
I'm getting as much as I can pre made for my Christmas Dinner. So I ordered Tesco's Finest Bread Sauce. It's out of stock. So, I'm being sent Turkey Gravy instead. Where do they come up with these inappropriate substitution suggestions?

Very odd substitute of gravy for bread sauce! There used to be packets of bread sauce mix - maybe they don't exist anymore .

I always have a packet on hand, just wanted to have some ready made instead. It's easy enough to make from scratch. Schwartz and Knorr both make packets.
DeleteWell I guess it's wet and goes on meat . . . I've just ventured out in the wind and rain to deliver a couple of presents. It is NOT nice to be out in. Stood chatting to a friend in her stables and felt my hands turning to blocks of ice! Heating went up two notches when I came back indoors, and a tin of Beef Broth soup warmed me from within.
ReplyDeleteI hope that the tremors ease a bit. Keith didn't have the form of Parkinsons with the tremors. It hit him in other ways.
